Dr. Ahrar earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University at Mankato, where he also played varsity tennis for four years. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Doctor Ahrar completed several professional externship programs at the Illinois Eye Institute, the University of Chicago, and the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind. His externship specialties included Pediatric Eye Care, Contact Lenses, Low Vision and Advanced Care.

Doctor Ahrar provides comprehensive eye care for the entire family and he especially enjoys Pediatric eye care and the challenges of hard to fit Contact Lenses. Dr. Ahrar has been married to his wife (Jennifer) for 16 years. They have an 13 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. They enjoy camping, playing tennis and going for family walks with their Golden Doodle. Doctor Ahrar lives in Lakeville and continues to be an active member of the Lakeville area community. During his free time, he enjoys attending local high school athletic events and cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

Dr. Shari Ahrar earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Shari completed several professional externships during her education which included specialties such as: pediatrics, vision therapy, contact lenses, ocular disease, and low vision. Dr. Shari is excited to serve the Apple Valley and Lakeville communities by providing comprehensive eye care to the whole family. During her free time, Dr. Shari enjoys working out, baking, and spending time relaxing with her family and friends.

Dr. Robert Anderson is originally from Michigan. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Grand Valley State University, where he also played hockey for four years. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Dr. Anderson completed several professional externships during his education specializing in ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatric eye care. Dr. Anderson enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams for entire families.

When Dr. Anderson is not at the office, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, and cheering on his hometown teams: the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers.
